Extended Sheepdog Seminars Training

10 Hours of Training + 1 Bonus Hour

Part 1 - Police Officer and Pastor Jimmy Meeks

The Charleston Sheepdog Seminar took place two months after the tragedy of the massacre at a church in Charleston. Hundreds poured into Seacoast Church in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina, eager to hear the Sheepdog Message.

Sessions 1 and 2: Jimmy Meeks, a 35-year police officer and 42-year minister, spoke on the calling of the Sheepdog. "Fabulous," one attendee said. In these sessions Jimmy updated attendees on the number of people who are dying violent deaths on faith-based property in the United States. The crowd was stunned to hear that such violence has penetrated houses of worship all across the country.

Session 3: Jimmy also spoke on the topic of protecting the flock from sex crimes. Once again, the crowd was deeply troubled as they learned that over 20 sex crimes are reported daily that occurred on church-related property. Jimmy explained the Crime Triangle ( How Crime Occurs) and what is necessary on the part of those who desire to protect their flocks from sexually-related violence.

Jimmy closed the session by addresses the calling of the Sheepdog, making reference to the life of King David - "the greatest sheepdog who ever lived."

You - and other sheepdogs you know - will thoroughly enjoy these DVDs, taped live in South Carolina. Our country is experiencing a violent trend - and the Sheepdog must heed the call to protect his fellow citizens.

Part 2 - Church Security Expert Carl Chinn

In 1996, Carl Chinn was a responder in a standoff with an angry gunman who took hostages at the Focus on the Family ministry. Following the attacker’s trial, Chinn began researching and writing on the subject of criminal and other incidents in North American ministries. In 2005, he and others began to develop an intentional security program for New Life Church in Colorado Springs, CO. He was one of the team of responders who engaged the killer on 12/09/2007. In this session, Carl Chinn discusses the lessons he learned from these events.

Bonus Session: Carl talks with David Works who was shot at the New Life Tragedy in Colorado along with his 2 daughters and Cheryl Hendrick who lost her daughter in the Daingerfield tragedy. Cheryl is featured in the multi-award winning film "Faith Under Fire." Faith Under Fire is the story of the mass shooting at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield, TX in 1980.
